After 34 years as an elementary school teacher Sandra retired and received her Real Estate license. This was a natural progression for her as her father was in Real Estate in the Seattle area for many years. Sandra has also purchased and sold her own homes over the years and recognized there was much more to selling then just putting an ad in the paper.
Graduating in 1970 from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education started Sandra’s quest for further knowledge in the field of education especially in literacy. She continued learning and when she retired in 2006 her degrees included a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, Master’s in Education and a sixth and seventh year of higher education in the field of Literacy.
From this teaching experience Sandra determined education is also an important aspect when marketing property. Continuing education classes have been available and Sandra has taken full advantage of these classes. She has also worked to get her ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), her SERS (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), and her EcoBroker designation (Built Green/Energy Star). GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) CRS (Certified Real Estate Specialist). June 2010 Sandra received her Managing Brokers license.
As a Realtor, Sandra has used this education to help her support her clients with their Real Estate needs. She continues to successfully list and sell properties for her clients. Sandra is an energetic, organized Realtor who is an example of a Realtor with a strong work ethic and integrity.
